Robin White Joins Waypoint Law

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Dec. 1, 2014 — Waypoint Law is pleased to announce that Robin Bicket White will join the firm as a Member. Robin guides business clients through financial distress situations.  Robin also draws from her years of representing businesses and business owners to mediate all types of business disputes.  

With Waypoint, Robin will focus on mediation and advising businesses facing financial distress.   Waypoint member Bob Mendes said, “Robin combines great legal skills and tremendous empathy in a way that is uncommon in lawyers; we are looking forward to practicing with her.”  Ms. White added, “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I have had and the people I have had the honor to work with over the years. I am excited now to explore a new path which will include growing my mediation practice while continuing to guide businesses through financial distress and other change management scenarios.”

Robin is certified as a Business Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification and is approved as a Rule 31 Mediator by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. She has been included in The Best Lawyers in America® 2010-2015 editions, and named to Best of the Bar in Business Bankruptcy by the Nashville Business Journal. She was also included in Mid-South Super Lawyers® in 2014 and the Rising Stars list for 2008-2013. Robin is also a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation.  Robin is Vice-President and President-Elect of the Board of Directors of the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute.

He is Chair of the Council’s Charter Revision Committee, a member of the Metropolitan Audit Committee, and a member of the Council’s Budget & Finance Committee, Rules & Confirmations Committee, and Ad Hoc Affordable Housing Committee.
